Cambridge Modern Jazz Club is moving from Kettles Yard to Hidden Rooms, a basement night club underneath the Pizza Express restaurant in Jesus Lane in the centre of Cambridge. CMJC describes the venue as 'intimate': 'the atmosphere is more like a traditional jazz club, with drinks available during the performance, from a bar that is licensed until midnight.'

CMJC will also continue to host concerts at The Junction 2.

Forthcoming guests at Hidden Rooms include the John Etheridge (pictured) Quartet (24 September), the Arun Ghosh Quintet (29 October) and the Soweto Kinch Quartet (26 November).
